Music Director Rudy Fernandez says that KEAN was the first in the nation to have one of these as a remote broadcast platform. He says that it was orange with a tan stripe when they got it. The VIN is TZE168V100873. Rudy told me that when lightning knocked out the station a few years ago, they backed the coach up to the door and the technicians ran extension cords out to the 6KW Onan and were back on the air within 45 minutes. He's very proud of this coach. I hope to get some more information about it soon.
