I bought a 200 watt panel from Continuous Resources for $185. That was only the beginning.

Matt Dalley at Continuous Resources, was extremely helpful in providing expertise and really good pricing on everything else I needed for the project. And overall, was much less expensive than other suppliers.

I used a Blue Sky 3024i MPPT Controller which is good for 40 amps.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Blue Sky IMP Remote Controller also displays what is going on.

 

 

The Xantrex ProWatt 1000 Pure Sine Wave Inverter is plenty of power for us.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Automatic Transfer Switch makes it very nice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Remote switch makes if very handy.

Control Closet

Charge Controller/ Display and
ProWatt Inverter Remote Panels.

 


Wiring penetrated the roof right beside the driver side sewer vent which is right above the electrical closet. Wire goes right into the storage pod above that. All wire is secured and water tight with gland nuts.

 


Inverter resides beneath the permanent bed, snug, outta site, right above the batteries. The remote is very handy.

 


Panel is mounted to aluminum angle which is bolted to a steel barstock inside the storage pod, effectivly clamping it to the width of the lid.
